Youth Risk Behavior Survey

The Youth Task Force has been collecting data for nearly two decades from a variety of sources. Initially, the first Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) was conducted in 1999. The data from this survey provided the YTF with hard facts about use rates and issues for the school-aged youth of Martha’s Vineyard. YTF continues to collect data via the YRBS bi-annually.

SAFE Homes Pledge

The SAFE HOMES PLEDGE program offers parents an opportunity to join together in providing safe environments for their children to socialize while presenting a clear message to all youth that there will be NO underage use of alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs in their community.

The MV Youth Task Force hosts speaker series and events on a regular basis to educate, engage, and ignite conversation among parents on crucial topics related to adolescence, trends, and raising our children to make healthy choices.

The MV YTF hosts a series of dinners for middle and high school parents yearly to provide a forum to connect and discuss the key challenges and joys of each stage in your child’s growth.
